Overview
The Purchasing Department is responsible for all aspects of the City's centralized procurement process. The Department's objectives are to:
- Acquire needed goods and services efficiently and inexpensively
- Assure fair and equal opportunity to all qualified vendors
- Assist other City departments in their procurement efforts
- Secure materials and services that meet necessary standards and compliance with applicable laws
