The Customer service representatives handle turn on/off of water service as well as meter reading, checking for leaks and repair/replacement of residential meters.
The city does not have its own source of potable water but purchases approximately 1.5 million gallons per day from Manatee County and distributes the water to all homes and businesses within the city limits.
Numerous tests are conducted to ensure that the water meets all the requirements of Federal and State regulations for safe drinking water.
