The Palmetto Police Departments employs and trains school crossing guards that work Palmetto Elementary School crossings and Manatee School for the Arts school crossings. They also assist crossing guards from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office for crossings in the City of Palmetto for Lincoln Memorial Academy.
