Tambra Varnadore was born and raised in Manatee County and is a lifelong Palmetto resident. She graduated from Palmetto High School and Manatee Community College with both Associate in Arts and Associate in Science Degrees, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
She is a Certified Paralegal and Florida Registered Paralegal with the State of Florida and is employed with the law firm of Dye, Harrison, Kirkland, Petruff, Pratt & St. Paul, PLLC.
Tambra was elected to the Palmetto City Commission as the Ward II representative on August 31, 2004 and took office on September 15, 2004. Her political philosophy is that city government needs to be efficient and wasteful spending needs to be eliminated. She would like the City to manage the growth of development and safeguard its historical roots.
She currently serves as the City’s liaison to the 4-H Foundation.
She has been married to her husband Ray for forty years, and they have three children and five grandchildren.
